All, for your information: spoke to at 10:30 this morning, shortly after our meeting in office. asked him whether in light of his IG investigation, should our Office be recused from the criminal investigation of the MCC and its guards relating to Epstein's suicide that had referred to us. said he saw no basis for our recusal and that we were authorized to convey his views on this issue to the DAG's office. then called ivho patched in S Associate Deputy Counsel, ODAG. put the same question to them. said that he saw no basis for our recusal because any possible conflict was too speculative. asked if he should also run the question by OAG and = said that was unnecessary because the question would ultimately be brought back to him.
