International Rescue Committee (IRC) is not only an immigration resource, they provide counselling, housing, clothing, mental health resources and financial assistance. I utilize IRC for trauma focused HT Victims, they provide multiple resources as needed by the victims, whom did you speak with at IRC ? I use them all the time, that is very strange that they told you that, they have a HT grant that focuses on HT victims. I will look into the NOVA agencies, I have not used them before. The victims live in I don't know of too many resources in that area, but will find out on NOVA. Thanks. I called the below and am a bit confused and concerned. The first one is not a working number and the last referral is for Immigration; and this is a sex trafficking case. I have been in contact with Florida Crime Compensation and they have told me there are various NOVA agencies that provide trauma focused services throughout Florida. As this is a sensitive case I have been instructed by Executive Management that victims should be referred to agencies that are trauma focused and vetted.
