I understand from CEGA that Myla has now been admitted to hospital for the surgery, estimated at 100,000.00 PI-IP (approximately GBP 150.00) and CEGA are sending a guarantee of payment to the hospital for the procedure. I understand that Myla is expected to require 1 months rest period to recover post operatively. I therefore await further updates on Myla's recovery form CEGA in due course. In the meantime, I would be most grateful if you could please arrange for the Insured to complete and return the attached Sturge medical claim form in due course, along with any additional supporting information / documentation that the Insured may have and including any medical expenses incurred. As I mentioned in my email of 29th April 2016, the Insured are entitled to claim Temporary Total Disablement benefit (T.T.D or salary benefit) in respect of the tie that Myla is medically certified as unfit to work, subject to receipt of supporting medical certification from a treating doctor confirming the period of disablement in question and less the policy excess of the first 7 days of disablement.
