It was a scene I had visualized many times. This time is was for real. I was smack in the middle of a very difficult trick , competing as the youngest ever member of the Russian snowboarding team at the Torino olympics. This was my childhood dream, finally bcing realized-. IT took years of determination, perserverance,and convincing reluctant sponsors to believe in both me and my potental. This was the culminating event after traveling around the world , competing in smaller events. in world championships, overcoming injuries, raising my own funds to enable me to hire the best coaches Someinges only a couple of euros at time, settting aside my aches and pains. but I closed my eyes and visuilized the spectators upside down , as I performed a first of many full body fliups. and drove on , I now visulaze myself sitting in an amphitheatre surronded by a boulibaise of talented studemts from many countires listening to lectures by some of the greatest legal minds, I can see the balckboareds, hear the clicks of the laptop keypboards as my fellow Harvard students , refuse to look up at the teacher as they may mistakenly hit the wrong key as they take copious notes. My adult dream is to attend Harvard Law , and i hope in the future to be able to recall extraoridinary events that take place there with the same clarity. and perspective.and joy.
