To: Jeffrey Epstein(jeevacationagmail.comj From: drsra Sent Thur 8/30/2012 8:23:02 PM Subject: Christmas As you may recall, Karen's mother died just before Christmas last year so we went on the cruise to avoid being home for the holidays and Karen missing her mom. She & John liked the idea so much they want to take another trip this Christmas. I thought about Las Vegas because I) we have never been, 2) Vegas probably is pretty much the same regardless of Christmas, 3) I figured John would like to see one of the special hospitality locations in the world. I know nothing about Vegas. Do you know anything about hotels out there? Where to stay seems to be something everyone thinks is the make-or-break aspect of the trip. I also checked into scuba diving trips to South America, Islands, etc., but at Christmas they are crowded and overpriced. We took him to Key West when he finished his internship at The Breakers and he liked that. Where else do people go who travel at Christmas? I always had the celebration at home, except when I lived in NYC; we went to the movies on Christmas Day. (By the way, John worked primarily at The Flagler Steakhouse this summer and now thinks he might prefer food & beverage over lodging. I suggested he get in touch with Steve Hanson again because he could probably teach John everything about the F&B business starting from the ground up once he graduates).
