It seems that it went to our 19'h century department and EFTA_R1_00408044 EFTA01945876 based on the images attached and the information provided, it is hard to exactly tell the dating of the piece as this very popular form was first made from the 1720's and then revived in the 19th century. I'm sure this delay has been very frustrating and I hope I can help. I'm afraid the images that were attached cannot be enlarged so it is hard for me to give you a definitive answer about the age and value of your desk. What do you know about it and how did you acquire it? Any information you have about it is always incredibly helpful. If the desk is located in Manhattan, if it would be possible for me to look at it in person, as that is always the best way to evaluate something.
