Subject: Jeffrey Epstein
dear Gordon
as you know the sprinting work was supported by Jeffrey Epstein, a good friend of
mine (and financial whiz) whom i see when i can in NYC or West Palm Beach at his
homes
he also was quick to offer more help and gave the BRF 820,000 six weeks ago
toward the elite sprinter project, money which your Foundation kindly matched
like you he has a deep interest in science, though he is more into mathematics
per se but he might well find some of your economic work interesting; as you
know, economics is not exactly my strong suit; in any case, i recommend him
warmly to you--i find no fault in him and always enjoy his company
hearing about you, he thought it would be fun to be in contact and so i am
copying him on this letter, in case he wishes to e-mail you
i hope this is fine with you and i look forward to visiting you in San Francisco
in the not too distant future
warmest best as always
