There will be no problem in getting instrument appraised as everyone I have spoken to said cello is worth more then 185k and closer to 200k. That is why I was pointing out date of old Appraisal ,April 2007 and saying it was worth more now. By the way I am not a broker, but make my living as a professional solo cellist and am doing as a favor to Jeffrey ,watching out for his and foundations best interest. The Violin shop handling the sale has been caring for cello for the last 60 years. Eric Benning is a member of the International makers of Violins , American Federation of Violins and the German Makers Federation of Violins. Please convey to JE this is a wonderful acquisition and one of the nicest and most beautiful cellos I have ever seen . When JE asked me for my help I set out to find the very best I could at a reasonable figure, which I believe I have achieved ---this instrument will be a real source of pride for the foundation in my opinion.
