Date: October 22, 2012 12:01:01 PM EDT To: lesley groff < Lesley I did go to home depot last week and I installed the magnetic strip on the entire closing face of the door and also on the steam gasket trim frame that the door butts up to . The problem is the steam gasket that the door closes up to pushes the magnetic strip that was installed 1/2" away from the frame. I can go and get more magnetic strips and try to build out the half inch space but the door will leak steam without the proper door gasket and the magnetic tape will peal off. To have the steam room door work off a magnetic type closer the whole gasket frame needs to be changed to assure no steam will leak and a proper chanel will be groved into the frame for the magnetic closer.
