I'm not sure your comfort level, but `they say' you are to be to the airport 3 hours ahead of time for an international flight! This being said, you would need to leave at 3:30...1 would give myself an hour to get to JFK because you never know what traffic will hold...(if it were me I would probably leave at 4pm...) hope this helps!
