Note Details: Author: igroff Body: I met Nancy Oh a few weeks back for a drink. She has been at First New York for three years now. She has been partnered with another PM names David Nguyen. Nancy and David are starting their own fund under a new First New York (FNY) model, Nancy's fund will be called One68 Global Capital. Many other funds arc also expected to spin out under this FNY model. She thinks One68 will launch with $100 million. Performance has been very good. Up just about every month for three years with rare down months leading to returns of 15% to 20% per year. They are event driven special situations involved in many merger trades. I spoke with her today about getting us in front of the head of the new group and she said she thinks this makes sense. Brett and I plan a dinner with her in the next few weeks.
