All our photos are public, but you can designate friends or family, each being more restrictive. May users have NO public photos. For friends or family, the other person must have a Flickr account and you must designate them friends or family. Then they can see the photos that you have designated friends or family. Family can see all Friends are limited to friends and public. I think there is a tool to designate one time access by email to a non-Flickr contact, but don't remember the details. You can access Flickr with any device. I routinely upload from my phone and by DragAndDrop from ACDSee, my desktop photo organizer.
