I want all stainless steel appliances and like a simple, chic, sophisticated look, but not stark, cold or over the top contemporary...I love the thick, dark wood countertops that contrast with simple white cabinetry, but would like to throw in some dark cabinets too...I am also thinking to contrast the countertops...I LOVE white carrara marble BUT, do not want the hassle of it...I have seen Rain Cloud Cohan that looks extremely similar and it would be way easier to keep looking nice. What is White Macauba Quartz Granite look like? or Luce De Luna Granite?? Both I have also seen on the Houzz website... I have been looking at Thcrmador appliances. 48" Fridge (side by side) 36" Gas Cook Top 30" Dishwasher (plans call for 2 dishwashers, but I think we will only do 1) 30" Microwave 30" Warming Drawer Chimney Style Hood 30" Double Ovens We also want a Beer Froster...been looking at one from Summit (Model #SCFU386FROST 24.3" H x 23.4" W x 21.5" D) and one from Supenentown BF313-U (- http://www.beerfroster.com/beer-froster-spntn-b1313u.html) We have 10' ceilings... I want dark chocolate wood floors... I do not want the microwave to be a microwave drawer... I think I want a stainless steel farm sink... I want built in drain board(s) Pull Out Drawer under the sink (so you can get to everything) I don't think the plans show the second island (the island closest to the family room) very well...the kitchen is completely OPEN to the dinette area and family room...I would like to have columns on either side of this island (I will send you a picture of what I mean)...Also, I want this island to be two levels. On the side nearest the family room, I will have bar height stools so we can eat there...on the other side, the one inside the kitchen, will be regular counter height...I am also thinking to move a sink to this island...not sure...want to discuss with you. Regarding a budget, I think we are in the $75-85K range (excluding appliances)...give or take...
