Connecticut 06840 Parking for School Events As we have entered that time of year when events on campus will substantially increase the amount of traffic and parking on campus, I would like to remind you of necessary procedures and policies regarding parking. Parking on campus: • Please park in lined spaces only in our parking lots. • Spaces designated as Handicap Parking require the appropriately displayed placard. • DO NOT PARK in areas that are marked with yellow paint as these are FIRE ZONES. • DO NOT PARK in crosswalks or block the sidewalks. • DO NOT PARK on the grass. • DO NOT PARK in areas cordoned off by cones. Overflow parking is: • Allowed on the south (school) side of Gower Road, between Southwood Drive and the school parking lot. DO NOT PARK between the school parking lot and South Ave. • Allowed on north (school) side of Farm Road between the school entrance EFTA_R1_00847582 EFTA02168221 and Old Stamford Rd. DO NOT PARK between the South Ave.and the school parking entrance. • Allowed at the high school in a limited number of spaces, depending on events being held there. DO NOT PARK on Grace Street or Crystal Street. *For safety reasons, cars that are parked in any of the restricted areas described above or do not follow state and local laws are subject to ticketing and/or towing by the New Canaan Police Department.
