Hello all, Many of you have probably heard of the New Canaan Athletic Foundation. This organization raised money to replace the turf at Dunning last summer. Recently, the Foundation has held many small, informational fund raisers across New Canaan to raise additional funds so some significant projects can begin this summer. Mike Benevento, an enthusiast for the betterment of New Canaan youth sports, and father of 3 boys (or whatever he has!) has been making these presentations and answering the many questions potential donors may have. To raise awareness and hopeful support of these projects, Lesley and I have offered to host an event at our home Thursday, March 30th. Dina and James Connelly have also offered to host an event at their home in April, sometime after Spring Break (date to be determined). Many of the families we have identified are similar. We hope you can make one of our events. Lesley will follow up with an Evite so we can get a head count.
