Subject: Re: Jeffrey You are correct TCAS 7.1 has been known for years, That's why I installed in GIV during DU885, when I read the=article on Dec 8th and realized the deadline had passed I called Mike Robin=on Boca Avionics to ask about leadtime to upgrade 8727. Mike worked avionic= issues during our A2 check in PBI in August on the 8727. We actually sent t=e Transponder out for repair during that time, Mike told me he asked Morris=n if he wanted to upgrade to 7.1 at this time, Mike told me Morrison said w= don't fly the plane to Europe and he would wait to install and obviously f=rgot, Which makes no sense, I sho=ld have caught this, and queried Larry M about having 7.1 installed. <=div> the Dec 1st deadline caught me by surpri=e, My fault I will have Neil from Banyan expedite our upgrade if po=sible.
