Street. The Library is completed as well as the Stair-Rail. It looks =o me that Mr. Epstein liked the work. This coming Monday, = will complete the work on the Stairs. Mr. Epstein ask for "Piano =inish" on the Steps, I suggested that Raisers will be finished in =atin. He is extremely bright person and in an instant =ecognized that if everything will be finished the same, will not look =ell, so he agreed. One thing I wanted to mention, and =his is going back to the Library. We treated every square inch of the =urface. The most of the damage was on the tops of the cabinets, which =s I previously mentioned, I took to my studio to re-finish them. I =inished them a bit higher to give some life to the interior. I had the =ontract on WAXING the surfaces, so I could not change anything. The finish in the Library is Satin all over and as much as I =anted to differentiate the surfaces, I could not do it. The rubbing the =oldings to contrast them with the rest of the surfaces did not work, =nd I did not want to go too far without permission of Mr. Epstein. I =hink, in every case the communication is the key to resolve even very =mall issues. Hope we will have this in the future, as I would like to =ake pride in my work.
