I spoke to the sea plane guy Located in Lantana airport,,,he uses a Lake Buccaneer for the rating,,,$2,400 per student, you get 6 hours of flying time„,2 days to complete, 1/2 day of ground school... -landing sights are governed by the towns,,,,West Palm Beach has on ordinance for no landings in the ICW (inter coastal water way), Fort Lauderdale is trying to pass the same ordinance, He uses Lake Osborne just south of Lantana airport for training, there is a book published call Sea Plane Pilot Association approved landing sights for US, that designates approved areas for water landings. thx Larry EFTA_R1_01499413 EFTA02429668
