The spectrum's endpoints are 0 in space & 0 in time. It's not a priori clear why you can't go faster than c, but is clear that you can't go slower (in time) than stopped. "Stopped" in space equals max-rate thundering through time. Nothing to do w/ physics, only philosophy. Whether or not we talk a ain, pls consider checking out my colleague Drew McDermott ). Schank will back me up. Drew is a brilliant AI man from a math background, too low-key to get the attn he deserves.
