Subject: Guard Booth, Palm Beach
Jeffrey,
Regarding a security guard booth for Palm Beach; to comply with town code you may wish to
consider positioning or PARKING a vehicle in the space between the garage and the street wall,
where there used to be parking. This vehicle might not be easily moved but could have visual
observation of both the garage driveway and the front driveway through the garden gate. The
plantings of Royal palms and the Pcrotis palm at the corner need not be disturbed, only some of
the ground cover removed and replaced with gravel. This special vehicle should have good sight
lines front and back, but need not have a good engine, breaks, transmission etc. just four tires in
a parking space. Electrical can be provided by extension cord from the garage as well as temp
air conditioning without running an engine. Tow it away when you are done with the vehicle;
short of putting a vehicle up on blocks I can't see how Palm Beach can object to parking a
vehicle behind a garden wall where you have always parked.
Regards, Doug
