Laying off some of my AI staff has been a bit upsetting to me: as you know, this isn't just Another thing I should mention is that, if I **fail** to dig up some funding for Novamente or myself in the immediate term, I'll be on the job market in early August. (Although in the absence of new funding or contracts, Novamente will still have a tiny revenue stream -- this revenue is for programming contracts that my colleagues can fulfill better than me, so it makes sense for me to use the tiny revenue stream to pay them, and seek my own income elsewhere.) So, in that case, I'm curious if there might be any employment opportunities for me in your organization. Of course, AGI research is what I'd most love to spend my time on; but if I can't get funding soon, I'll have to do **something** else. My preference is to work from home, but I could be in NY 2 or 3 days per week if necessary.
