My jury duty is finally over but I have a cyst that I'm getting removed on August 18th. What are you doing on Holidays. I can come down in October, if you think things are too crazy now. Today would have been my 25th wedding anniversary. Despite having read Authentic Happiness and Learned Optimism, I'm not optimistic about my future love life. My explanatory style for why I'm alone is permanent, pervasive and personal. I followed a friend's advice tonight and went online to check out match.com and eharmony. I realized two things that 1) I am taller than a lot of men and 2) 55- 60 year old men are really old and unattractive. If you were really my friend, you'd marry me (again) so i could avoid all of the humiliation of dating. In retrospect, I think it may have been a mistake not to buy a coop in June. I've had to withdraw from my savings for July and August to meet the expenses of this rental and now I'll have less money to buy a coop next Spring, at most likely higher prices (more pessimism.) Oh well, can you please give me some advice about investing to help offset these monthly expenses and preserve my capital. (I watch CNBC, sometimes). Love, P.S.
