I was told that I would handle Mort's estate planning. During my pre=iminary review, I identified a huge issue and developed a strategy to fix =he problem. Nevertheless, Mort decided to use Ellen, both to fix the probl=m I identified and to provide additional estate planning services. Subsequently, I was told that he wanted to us me. But again it became appar=nt that he wanted to continue with Ellen. At that point, I did not review =he documents, nor did I do a deep dive in the structure. Rather, my conclu=ions were quite general. Given the circumstances, including the issues you raised on the phone, I do='t think Paul, Weiss should undertake a full review of someone else's work.
