I want to =ssure them, and you, that the story is incorrect. As you know, I =enied the allegations in the story, about which I and various =rganizations I am affiliated with provided clear counter-evidence which =as ignored or distorted during the six months that Buzzfeed harassed me =nd my colleagues with false claims. I understand from you that in =11 my time with the Bulletin, no one has made any complaints about me =r my professionalism or about me personally. Nevertheless, =he work of the Bulletin is very important, and I don't want the =istraction of this current frenzy to interfere with its work. =nbsp;Therefore I would like to take a leave of absence as Chair of the =oard until clearer heads prevail, and a careful assessment of the facts =as been completed by the various organizations I am affiliated with, =ncluding the Bulletin, has been completed. I look forward to =eturning to our work together at that time.
