Antigua de Guatemala, a Spanish colonial city that was larger than a=y city in Noah America when it was abandoned in 1777 due to a threatened =olcanic eruption that never occurred (stay at Pensativa House Hotel.) 3= Chichicastenango, a wonderful Indian market town (not to be missed on a m=rket day - absolutely amazing on a religious holiday such as Easter. Stay =t the Mayan Inn. See the churches and shop bargains!) 4. Lake Atitlan, = 1,600 ft. deep lake in the mouth of an extinct volcano with Indian villag=s, accessible only by boat, around it.
