Jeffrey: While David and I have only just recently renewed our acquaintance, I know from having spent a very interesting evening on stage with him a decade ago, and from having communicated with him and most recently written for his fascinating magazine Inference, that you would very much enjoy meeting and talking to him. He is very thoughtful, and has a mathematics background that I also think you would enjoy. And his sensibilities are rational and not PC at all! :) And as I told you on the phone, his daughter Claire wrote that article that you and I like so much.
