Question/L'official
L'official is being really seedy and trying to change the terms of the agre=ment without discussing with me first, it's a
constant back and forth Fren=h style - I feel like I'm in a Turkish bazaar trying to buy a carpet or so=ething. I walked away
from the US deal because they were trying to put tog=ther an agreement that would validate 50% of my shares only
after 24 month=, after which time the majority partner would have the power to change the=valuation and thereby
dilute my shares. Really sneaky stuff, and I just st=pped back and acted dumb. My main focus was on Brazil, much
cheaper shares=and would get me the same results (pussy). But now they're being shady aga=n and even tho I can prove
that they are not negotiating in good faith and=have therefore breached the terms of our MoU agreement I don't know
if the=French courts would reimburse me for any damages such as legal fees, trip =o Brazil, etc.
Do you know anything about how these things work in Paris? In the US I coul= litigate and at some point when they
would start racking up the legal fee= some settlement could be reached. Not sure how that works in Paris or
how=something like this could be resolved (I'm not prepared to pay an attorney=12k USD for a deal that falls through).
The other question is do you know =ny good attorneys in Paris? I mean somebody well known enough that a mere
=hone call or letter from him would cause them to reconsider their current =ourse of action.
I'll be in Brazil in a couple weeks. I hoped to have this deal done by then= but they keep dragging things out. I never
knew French people to be so se=dy.
