Questions ? Is it Really Rick that objects? If so, what are his concerns , and how can we alleviate them Deputies. Apartment? State attorney? 1. Did Marie poison the well? 2. This is the last thing we will ask for. 3. Its not fair-6 months on work release any other inmate would receive house arrest 4. Medical procedures require rest, I won't do it while in jail 5. SLoman desperately wants to be the Us attny „ he will not make a peep now.. 6. Marie probably spun a web of viscious fabrications. She could have spooked them.. tales of 12 year olds etc. 7. The eligibilty requirements for house arrest and work release are the same 8. The public is well aware that I am supposed to go on house arrest I have paid over 75k to date Three weeks ago, at line up. The 4-12 sargeant gregorio, addresses all the deputies, with Lt. Hebert at her side.. she says Epstein is a child molester, just because he has money, he shouldn't be treated differently than any other child molester„ any of those girls could have been your kid. She says she has proof that I have been giving investment advice to deputiees , and they found account numbers in my cell.. This is totally wrong and merely a vicious fabrication. The deputies at Gun club, were basically told the same thing when it can time to apply for my overtime detail. That is at the root of the change of attitude. 9. The media no longer cares.. Not in this environment. It is Easter 10. There are over 200 people on house arrest, 11. He can tout the program, as a cost saver, for the community 12. From the Justice Commission hearing 08 Mr. Johnson stated that he thought that PBSO had the discretion unless the court has a standing order against it to place sentenced inmates on house arrest. Ms. Haughwout stated that they are doing some of this. She also stated that the criteria for this program that the Sheriffs office uses are understandably specific. Such as if an individual has a prior, they will not qualify for the program even though their current charge is for a lesser crime. Mr. Krischer said that in the past, discussion had taken place for the last quarter of an individuals' sentence would be fulfilled under house arrest if there is no irresponsible behavior .He stated that this could be an option for consideration again. Chairman Duncan asked Sgt. Lawrence to explain the guidelines for the program. Sgt. Lawrence stated that the criteria are stringent. His unit is able to place someone in the program without judicial intervention by a Standing Order unless it is specified at sentencing otherwise. Often, the criteria for the terms of the program are the prior crimes and they look at criminal history. Even if the charge at the time is not significant, they look at what they have done in the past. Once it is a court order then they will abide by that order. Chairman Duncan stated that he agreed with Mr. Krischer to charge a sub-committee with looking at the details of expanding the house arrest program. EFTA_R1_0200461 8 EFTA02684279

Lauderdale, FL 33394 (954)356-7255 July 7, 2009 Thank you for your letters of June 19th. From your letters, it appears that you have misconstrued the Office's past efforts at alleviating Mr. Epstein's unfounded fears of disparate treatment. You seem to have interpreted those efforts as either: (1) an acknowledgement of the validity of those fears, or (2) an acquiescence to the efforts of Mr. Epstein to avoid the full terms of the Non-Prosecution Agreement. So, for example, you write that, in an email to Mr. Acosta, you "confirmed that 'there were significant irregularities with the deferred prosecution agreement,' and that "Mr. Acosta agreed to many of our objections and adopted
