Subject: Landmark Communities
Jeffrey,
Since you have been kind enough to follow our commercial tragedy, which still has a final act, I thought you
would be interested in how others are judging our efforts.
Landmark is best known for creating great golf courses and other amenities. In truth, our mission is to build the
best residential communities; amenities are simply a tool. Building these amenities to the highest standards creates a
better place to live, but our goal is to use these to create quality communities.
It was extremely satisfying when Golf International, one of the two leading international golf magazines,
recently chose their top 20 residential resort communities in the world. I was, of course, pleased that of the top 20,
Landmark had conceived and developed four, while no one else developed more than one. A copy of that article is
attached. Please take special note of #3, #9, #11, and #12 and it is significant that #1, Wentworth, is our partner at Apes
Hill in Barbados.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
