Dr. Gloria Rudisch, MD, MPH Dr. Rudisch is Director of Child Health Services for the town of Brookline, MA. From 1971 to 2007, she also was Director of Child Health Services for the Brookline Public Schools, where she redefined the role of the pediatrician working with school and community programs, and developed training programs for Children's Hospital (CHMC) post-residency fellows in community pediatrics. She was also one of the cofounders of the Cambridge Montessori School. Currently, Dr. Rudisch is on the consulting staff of CHMC and a Clinical Instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She has been involved with child health and medical education issues at an international level and has been an invited lecturer at programs in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, and Japan. She is also active in local community boards, such as Brookline Mental Health, Rotary of Brookline, Emergency Medical Corps, Brookline Commission on Women, and the Domestic Violence Roundtable, which she helped establish. Dr. Rudisch received an Aesculapian Award from the Future Health Technology Institute for work in asthma among young children, and an Alumni Award from New York University Medical School for her work on community medical issues. She has been a presenter on community and child health at national meetings of the American Public Health Association, and remains active as a speaker in Harvard School of Public Health alumni activities.
