July 18, 2013 Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc. 575 Lexington Avenue, 4th Floor, New York, New York 10022 Townhouse 9 East 71 Street New York, NY Re: supplemental/additional air conditioning Dear Rich: Arista Air Conditioning Corporation is pleased to submit our proposal for special air conditioning of the master bedroom and the gym as well as having additional capacity for future air handlers as follows: Arista Air Conditioning Corp. hereby proposes to furnish and install the following: Engineering: We will hire a professional licensed mechanical engineer to survey and prepare sealed mechanical drawings for this project, including expediting with the NYC Building Department. Equipment: One (1) Mitsubishi CitiMulti 10 ton R-series (simultaneously heating/cooling) condensing unit. Unit to be rigged to roof and set upon equipment supports. One (1) 2.5 or 3 ton Mitsubishi air handling unit to be installed in the electrical closet adjacent to the master bedroom. One (1) 2.5 or 3 ton Mitsubishi air handling unit to be installed in closet of gymnasium. All required ductwork to install a supply diffuser in the cove in the crown molding of the bedroom. on the wall adjacent to electrical closet. ( owner to provide services of general contractor to make openings required and to re-plaster and paint same.) Sheetmetal ductwork in gym area to connect unit to existing supply diffuser over closet door. Install new thermostats for each air handler with remote temperature sensors if required. Prepare wiring diagram for your electrician to power up new condensing unit and air handlers. We will leave spare parts for future air handlers. System to be evacuated and charged with refrigerant. Units will be started up and operation explained to staff. We will perform controlled inspection for New York City Building Department. Total Quoted Price $ 97,925.00 • Work excluded: cutting, patching, painting and decorating. Roofing. Overtime. Power wiring. Structural steel if required. Our price is based is based upon a Capital Improvement and therefore includes all sales tax for material and equipment purchased for this project. There is a one year warranty on all labor and materials provided by Arista Air Conditioning Corporation and a five year warranty on the compressor provided by the manufacturer.
