PETITION TO EXTEND TIME FOR FILING FINAL ACCOUNTING AND PETITION FOR DISCHARGE Petitioner, Gary Siegal, alleges: 1. Petitioner is the personal representative of the above estate. 2. The status of the administration of this estate is that Petitioner is still in the process of resolving legal disputes with his sister over their father's trust which impacts the assets of the estate. Each party has retained separate counsel and Petitioner expects to resolve such issues within the next six months. 3. Petitioner cannot file a Final Accounting and Petition for Discharge within the time specified in Fla. Prob. R. 5.400 because: Petitioner is still in the process of resolving legal disputes with his sister over their father's trust which impacts the assets of the estate. 4. Petitioner estimates that it will be possible to file a Final Accounting and a Petition for Discharge on or before October 15, 2014. 5.
