Thank you to the Florida Department of Transportation, =he contractor, Bergeron Land Development, Inc., and our amazing City of Mi=mi Beach staff for their commitment to this accelerated construction sched=le. Below are more details: The acceleration effort for the Alton Road Roadway Proj=ct includes reestablishing two northbound and southbound travel lanes betw=en 8 Street and 17 Street. Additionally, all roadway work will be substant=ally complete by the end of December. This work includes all sidewalk enha=cements, signalization, lighting and drainage work in this area. In order =o achieve the end-of-year-deadline, the contractor will be able to continu= work in this area and may close a lane as needed.
