In some cases, invoices and payment instructions go directly to Rich, in some instances to Eileen. The same goes for most non-recurring payments. In many, if not most instances, payment requests go to Eileen first, then to accounting (and sometimes back to Eileen for final authorization). Expenses that originate in the household will often go to Eileen instead of to accounting, because I am told, Melanie does not want to interact with Rich J.
