I spoke to Bella about this some already...lf she took a connecting flight on an upfare it is possible the price could have been less than a direct flight in economy if it was the last seat...(I suppose? but really don't know...) The direct economy was over $1000. My fare is an upfare meaning somewhere along the lines of it is more expensive economy and they put you in business but you are bumped if business is booked. Economy was fully booked. Let me know if you need any further info. I have a flight booked from Puerto Vallarta to London as I cannot come back into the US.
