Subject: I-539 reinstatement
Date: Mon, 09 Jul 2012 23:00:29 +0000
Attachments: i-539.pdf
Hi Karyna,
Please find attached a draft of the reinstatement for student status. A few minor peices of information is
missing and can be filled in.
I am currently drafting up the personal statement. However, I have a quick question.
You stated that you were in 3-1 status when you entered the U.S. around July of 2009. Can you tell me
what the J-1 was for specifically? 3-1 can be used for many purposes, such as foreign exhange
students, journalists, interns for internship programs, etc.
I know you brought in all your documents regarding your asylum case. I apologize for the inconvenience,
but would you be able to scan those documents to me? Those documents would give me a better idea of
your asylum case.
In addition our legal fee for the I-539 reinstatement is $2,000.
The Immigration fee for the I-539 is $290.
I will ask you to provide two separate checks, one for our legal fee and the other for immigration.
Please contact me if you have any question or concerns regarding this matter.
Regards,
-Davis Woo
