Ms. Maxwell: I spoke to Frank Steele this afternoon regarding the PB staff housing. The following is an update since his report was received yesterday: Approval was received today to continue with construction providing we add an additional steel rebar (tie bar) across the top of the cement block for structural integrity. Mike was required to provide engineering calculations for the design which were approved. Frank stated the cost is minimal however we've lost a week of construction time. Contractors will be working on both sides of the screen wall Saturday. Frank would like to be advised when a decision is made regarding the 4' wall You should have a copy of the report however I'm attaching it...
