We added additional reinforcing, instead of using wire welded mesh, we used a rebar mat, spaced 1' x 1' on center. We mixed in an additive into the the concrete mix design to waterproof it and did two (2) 7" pours. We formed the interior to allow the estancia to continue to drain and installed angle iron to install drain grates.
