The MPRP candidate Ganbaatar called for a "white" election after loosing the first round. It is now widely supported by the ruling MPP. White Election is the call for people to submit unmarked ballots, thus affecting the turnout to be below required 50%. Former President and MPRP Chairman Enkhbayar is the most prominent person to call for the White Election. 2. The CI Television broadcasted today a short program about the reasons behind the White Election by DP members. They explain that the reason for calling the White Election is to make an amendment to the Constitution of Mongolia for selecting the President by the Parliament because the people of Mongolia cannot choose their President. The former PM Byambasuren calls this as effectively a coup 3. An independent New York based sound expert confirmed the genuineness of the 90-minutes recording. The General Election Committee (GEC) made a press conference today that they're ready for runoff elections on July 4-5 internationally and nationwide election on July 7. All forms are printed and delivered to sites. 2. GEC also introduced results of technical or manual counting of the results in Bayan-Ulgii province.
