Travel time will be invoiced at 50% of billable rate. SCOPE OF WORK This estimate is to replace an existing Lutron decentralized lighting control system. This system utilizes an older style processor and older style Vareo° style wall box dimmers. This system precedes any of the windows based computer programmable systems and as such all of the hardware is incompatible with current equipment standards. Also noted is that many of the actual dimmers are failing in that pressing the dimmer instead of the master keypad does not engage the light. All dimmers will be the Lutron Mastreo, Decora, style dimmer. The dimmer is compatible with all Decora devices and cover plates. The cover plates will be the Architectural Series Lutron screw less plates. All custom plate painting by others. All electrical devices will be installed by a local licensed electrician. All low voltage lighting keypads will be removed and wiring will be tested and identified for proper communication. Wiring between Lutron panels is essential and every effort will be made to verify that wiring exists or can be easily added. Additional equipment will be required if panel to panel wiring does not exist or cannot be installed. ASSUMPTIONS & CONDITIONS: - Lighting loads are functional and identifiable. Some lighting loads could not be identified during the initial site inspection test and consultation. - All wiring to low-voltage keypads will pass a full continuity test. - The Keypads in this estimate include a screw-less plastic cover plate. Metal screw-less cover plates are available from Lutron as a custom order product. - Engravings should be decided upon and available for installation during conversion. Not doing so will require a second visit. - Electrician should begin dimmer installation prior to our arrival. - Project will require three Clarity technicians for a full week. Additional programming and engraving time will be required pending aforementioned assumptions and conditions. - Unknown conditions may cause cost overages and require additional time to completion. - Remote programming for future changes will require VPN access to the Lutron system via theWEB.
