Jeffrey,
I get very high marks from my references for the way I handle staff and create efficient and dedicated teams.
That's also why they brought me back to Abu Dhabi.
Yet, on the island, every manager fails.
Nobody wants to change the Status Quo there. And certain staff members have turned it into an art form to make
sure nobody succeeds.
You need to do a purge and get rid of those bad apples if you want to have a smooth running operation. In my
opinion they have been allowed to get away with bad behavior for much too long.
Why don't we take one department at a time, find the suitable replacements and get the island turned around. It
can't be very satisfying for you to listen to all this petty bickering all the time.
I can find that staff. And I can do the training the new staff needs. 6 months from now it can be a much better
scenario with reliable and pleasant staff in place. Running two islands with the same crew will just increase the
headache.
I can do this. It is what I do for a living and I have no doubt that if we work together on a master plan, the end
result will be a much better solution than you'd ever had on LSJ.
Best
John
