Pm absolutely torn by the situation. I think the idea is good and the rest of the team is A+ (you met Kerrey --
he's really terrific.. so are the three other senior people). I've met with the head guy at Benchmark, and they
are very positive about the project ... and so was the managing director of the Mayfield Fund (which turned
them down for internal reasons -- but he was nevertheless very high on the idea). And, of course, I can't stand
my day job.
I heard what you said and will sleep on it. (Keep in mind my ultimate objective, which is to get back to the
east ASAP while at the same time keeping Robin happy.)
