I first met Diana in Stockholm in 2009, when she was the key note speaker at the Swedish-American Life Science Summit. We had asked Diana to speak at the Summit because of her leadership role in the rights for ethical stem cell research. At our recent SALSS 2012 we had an important panel on the diabetes crisis, a subject that Diana has advocated for many years.
