There are two specific things: e-commerce and the IBE program. Mapp would like to continue previous discussions he has had with you with regards to e-commerce. He is on record stating that he would like to use the viNGN Platform to create high paying jobs. Celestino also said that Mapp is interested in speaking to you about "your bank". I assume that he is referring to FSG. Please be aware that Mapp was the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance during his tenure as It. governor (1994-1998), he was very involved and considers himself to be somewhat of an expert. FYI — I understand that Mapp has about $60K in campaign debt to retire and it would be illegal for him to discuss anything having to do at GH. I don't think he will or at least I hope not but I just wanted you to know. More than likely the following persons will also be in the meeting along with Mapp and Celestino: Randy Knight — Chief of Staff - A local businessman and philanthropist from Boston and a 40-year resident of STT. He owned St. Thomas-St. John Cable TV until 1996, and recently Knight Quality Stations, a series of local radio stations. Rochelle Corniero Todman - Deputy Chief of Staff - Todman has worked in the V.I. Legislature for the last 26 years, serving as chief of staff to several senators, most recently to Senate President Shawn-Michael Malone. Simon Jones-Hendrickson - Chief Economist and Financial Adviser - Has taught economics for the last 38 years UVI and most recently served as dean of the college of liberal arts and social sciences. He has been a consultant to the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States; UNESCO; the V.I. Office of Management and Budget; the United Nations and the government of Monserrat.
