They are not involved in the Visa process. They provided a phone number to the help desk in the US consulate in Moscow 7-495-668-1087. Here is the complete info from my conversation with the agent: I. Form DS 160 must be completed on line. I can complete this form with Karyna or her mother help. When the form is submitted they provide a registration number. 2. I will pay fee $160 by credit card online. I will need the registration nuMber in order to make payment. 3. Karyna's mother has to call us consulate 7-495-668-1087 and schedule an appointment for an interview. She will need her registration number and payment receipt. 4. As Karyna's mom isn't a Russia citizen (she is from Minsk) the nearest appointment as of now is June 18th. For the appointment she has to bring her passport, receipt of payment, last page of the submitted application, letter invitation for an interview. It helps if she brings to the interview a letter of employment, proof of ownership of a property, marriage certificate. For the interview she will bring the letter from the Tour agency. 5. After her interview in 3-4 days she will receive her Visa. Expedited Visa issued only in case of emergency : medical, funeral, business (gov meeting, etc).
