For example - 2 of the companies I like most are very long shots but nothing to lose, but don't respond to emails except with generic stuff which seems like autoresponse. They are Avroko and Meyer Davis - both have physical offices in New York - do I just walk in there and give them my stuff. I know my physical presence is stronger than what you can see about me over email. Or is this again not going to be getting to the correct people. (Honestly getting into Parsons was a long shot for me as well, but now that I think back I kept going down there and going into the application office. Any paper that had to be emailed, I emailed but also took them a physical copy. I think they were slightly fed up with me but they definitely knew who I was and that I wanted to be there.) So far I have been going onto the schools online job portal (so to speak) so companies advertise jobs on there and every single student can apply. Not to mention these companies are probably doing the same procedure with Pratt and NYSID and other universities. Shall I keep you updated with all my job application movements next week??
