I hope this finds you well and perhaps wearing a yarmulke today. I don't know if you follow any of your Jewish roots and it is certainly nothing we ever talked about the few times we met or emailed back and forth. You must have in learning about me found that I am and have always been very actively involved with the Jewish community here, especially our synagogue. To my knowledge none of us have every come to you with fundraising or asked for any financial support so this may well be a first. While I/we would love to have you contribute in any way to any numerous funds we have or our endowment my email today is about far simpler and mundane. We have an annual auction usually in February. This is our one and only fundraiser every year. Would you ever consider a contribution to that event such as a dinner for "x" number of people on Little St. James? Or a ride to New York in your plane? Or something of that sort? I realize this is a long shot but it never hurts to ask? Thanks, Donald P.S. How is doing? Did she ever set up anywhere on island?
