She said they would prefer a proposal from us (the main shareholder is Italian), i said i needed to take a look at the financial statements. She also said she wasn't sure got the info that the agency was for sale and that of course they are always interested in proposals, but the whole agency would cost at least a few million dollars (!!). She asked to continue the conversation via email to track the correspondence between us (I used a new email address for that), to sign an NDA and that her husband and the Italian owner will be included in the correspondence. We agreed that they would send me a proposal. She also said she wanted to expand to LA and started talking about the social media instead of talking about financials. Next step would be to get the proposal from her and see the numbers. I don't want to reveal my identity unless we really decide to do it - the major team is all over the place in NYC, they have cipriani dinners all the time and I wouldn't like to run into them anywhere.
