Jeffrey,
offer for our 1999 Bell 407 is 1.7M now,. our serial number is 53375, the 375th Bell 407 in service,.
email from Dennis Martin, of Dennis Martin Aircraft, purchaser:
just to let you know, I was dealing with Brent Martin earlier in this deal, I come to learn his father is Dennis Martin,. I have
history with his father, I didn't know him very well, but I'm going back 28 years,.
Larry,
Nice to hear from you it has been a long time, small world! You did a good job flying home buy the waylIIIIII
Please, I hope this email does not sound adversarial but I know this market very well, having recently owned one myself.
here are the facts
Example:
1. I just sold my helicopter 53257 in October, that was not a desperation sale and it sold for $1,535,000.00. It was an excellent
ship always maintained by Edwards (you can call David about it) with 1100 total, excellent Paint, Interior and glass with no
damage or corrosion with a fresh annual.
2. We can buy sn 53735, a 2006/2007 model with EFIS and only 551 hour total time for 2.15
3. Your buddy sold his 2004 with 1000 hour total time for 1.850 and it is 50 k per year model or 1.850 - 250 = 1.6
4. While the book is not an exact Bible it happens to be really close on the 407s now. Please find attached a copy of the
current Blue book on your helicopter. It shows 1.5 base Retail, 75k pop out float and 17.5 aux fuel or 1.592,500.00 Retail
5. And finally, it is only worth what someone will pay and they are not selling very well because there are just not a lot of real
buyers out the.
My helicopter was an excellent machine and it took me 2 years to sell it. There are almost 50 forsale and only 5 of the 2000 or
older models have sold in the US in the last 6 months.
We are in fact very serious and that we have a proven buyer (they are the ones that bought my machine in October) but I will
pay 1.7 for yours and that is 100k over book retaillm
Thank you for your help and lets get this done
Dennis Martin
