I'm struggling the with Generator,. At some point there was water intrusion when Ed owned the boat,. There is a water line on the Windings that produce the 220VAC„.. also, the generator is surging when Ethanol fuel is used,,. causing Voltage to spike from 220VAC to 280VAC,., we blew the computer board on the New AC unit,. I was able to exchange via warrenty,. The current Generator is carbureted,. And has a Bearing noise as well I'm concerned about. Option 1, Overhaul and rewind the coil for voltage and install new carburetor,. Estimate $1800 to $2600. Option 2 New 2017 Generator with fuel injection system and upgraded fuel pumps,.
